Hi, I'm Alessandro, an entrepreneurial management graduate with a passion for technology and startups.
Welcome family, friends, visitors, and potential employers! My name is Alessandro Mannino. I am a 2014 Coastal Carolina University graduate who majored Business Management with concentration in Entrepreneurship.
Born in Palermo, Italy, I moved to the United States when I turned 7. I grew up in a small town in northern New Jersey, 20 minutes outside New York City. Since High School I have been involved in sports and extracurricular activities.
In college I remained active, being part of various organizations and holding multiple executive board positions. I also completed two fantastic internships with OmegaFi and Cowork MYR.
My dream has always been to build awesome products, "the next big thing". In college I interned at an incubator and helped a few founders take their ideas to the MVP stage. I have also attended both Startup Weekend and Lean Startup Machine placing 1st and 3rd respectively. My exceptional management, research and analytical skills have helped many founders bring their ideas to life. I'm a passionate product specialist looking to evolve into a Product Manager.
Friends and colleagues describe me as self-driven, motivated, dependable, and creative (particularly tactically). My areas of expertise include ideation, user research, rapid prototyping and business development.

SubwayTalents.org is as a non-profit database for New York City subway performers. I was brought onto the team to conceptualize SubwayTalent.com, a new for-profit product, to monetize the mission. I have defined the vision and conducted user research to identify customers, requirements, and make data driven decisions for our MVP. We have raised our first round of funding and are set to pitch more investors in the coming months.
I was one of five chosen from over 950 college undergraduates to participate in OmegaFi’s inaugural Fellowship program. During my time with the company, I participated in focus groups to review and consider emerging technologies that could provide additions to the company’s service offerings, and assisted in social media outreach. I traveled as an ambassador for the company to various fraternity and sorority conventions and leadership schools across the country, demonstrating OmegaFi products, promoting services and engaging students using social media, video testimonials and in-person events.

One of the things I often see is entrepreneurs telling developers the features they want in their products without giving them a wireframe of where they should all be.
